Sunrise is always great walking East towards Sausalito from Mill Valley. But I was walking home
when I saw thirteen Egrets crowding in a tiny inlet. Their micro pond is set in an expanse of red and orange grasses. The sun ignited the brightness of the foliage until it looked almost iridescent. I tore my gaze away and looked left. There I saw a huge flock of geese, presumably heading South. What a blessing to see this every day!
