Windy Walk Wednesday

A bit

of

excitement/ Amidst the solitude/

Having missed yesterday/

I was in a walking mood/

Skirting puddles/ bending into gusts/

My hat flew off into the marsh/

Just beyond my touch

I had to climb down the bank/

To pluck it from the drink/

And in a 30 mph wind/

That's harder than you'd think/

One foot got wet/ As you might guess/

But the plan had its' success/

My hat and I survived intact/

I held it tight/ as I walked back/

Next I needed a road crew/

Just to get my car started !

Walking today /

was not for the faint hearted./

Still, I made the effort/

And the effort was rewarded/

I came home with all my hats/

The fashion gremlins thwarted!

If you think my small adventure scary/

It shows just how far I'll go/

For a piece of millinary

Lunar Eclipse/ Winter Solstice

The thing about this lunar eclipse/

Is that it so clearly rhymes with lips/

Your lips / I can feel them pressing on mine/

A pressure which unleashes a lava flow/

A kiss on the solstice/ which shows what we know/

That love is the magic of the spheres/

A kiss which will last 500 years.

Imos' San Francisco

Susu Attar turned me on to the fish tandori at Chutney in the SF tenderloin. The fish was "on point" as Ms. Attar promised. Even Cocoa, a fussy foodie, was impressed. And so mellow, she took this great picture of me, celebrating a early Christmas in a delightful Pakistani spot.
