My favorite Ethiopian restaurant is Asmara,in Oakland. I like to meet my fairygoddaughters there, and have been known to "party in the car" with them, while parked on Telegraph Avenue. That is where I saw the license plate "AMOR U", which inspired the first song on "Tell a Different Story." More recently, I wrote "Itzall Done", while waiting for Laura. Yesterday,she spotted the plate "PRUVE IT!";and I wrote a song on the spot. 50th and Telegraph is obviously a power spot
