On Mt Baldy's fog swept pate

For an aggressive break

Today's stage is mountainous
And not one for the meek
Sky hopes Sergio Hanao
can climb his way to top of po
Robert Gesink has high hopes
Lotto-Jumbo knows the ropes
Pete Sagan would like to win
And you can not discount him
A less than four miles to the climb
Team Sky is setting the time
Up! Up! Up!
Many fall out the back
Followed by Alaphilippe Sergio attacks!
Alaphilippe gets ahead—no one expected
The young rider from France must be respected
I KM to the peak
A trial for Alaphilippe
Sagan soldiers on limiting his loss
He digs deep on the peak
and shows why he’s the Boss
But Alaphilippe France’s jewel
Takes a stage of climbing cruel
Chapeau! ALPHAphilippe
Now one of the elite
Sagan could still win the race
His guts today not commonplace
He gave it all he had and more
Tomorrow’s stage an open door!
