Weather Girl
A change in the weather/
For worse or for better/
Makes my heart undulate/
Like fish trolling for bait/
When the rains began to start/
They played / tattoo on my heart/
Making my love more intense/
Well, rain is wet/ it makes some sense
Then the days turned balmy/
and so did I/ constantly sniffing at the sky
Inhaling the air like a fine pinot noir/
Wondering wistfully where you are?
The sweetness of an early spring/
Mirrors the joy which love can bring
A shift in pressure barometric/
Is one more thing making/
my heart tick
And when the fog begins to slither/
It makes me want you to come hither/
A carousel of micro-climes/
Makes me more lovey all the time

Weather Girl Part Two
Saturday's mildness/
Gave way to a wildness/
Which always gets me going/
I feel especially cuddily/
When the winds are blowing/
The leaves are whispering secrets/
Our hearts already guess/
Ushering in hours/
Of Sunday's happiness/
Supporting the moist atmosphere/
a cloud of luminescence clear/
Titanium's the focus here/
At least for a few minutes, dear
Weather Girl Part Three
The pond ripples/ tickled by a breeze:
Hinting of nature/not quite at ease
The clouds threaten rain/
but are merely hanging/
Awaiting their close up/
When thunder starts banging/
The ducks have chosen to swim in a line/
Avoiding a tumult which will come in time/
The paths' loamy moistness/
Makes a slow transit/
Perhaps, baby grumpling,
that's just how Jah plans it/
Blessing each step which acrues pre-precip/
With weather/ it's making the most of it/
Saturday was Mediterranean
I'll think about that
when it starts to storm again.
I'm asking a question
which starts to perplex me/
Why changes in weather
make me feel sexy?/
I channel my urges through poetry/
Illustrating transmuted energy/
When tempest peaks/
I hit the sheets/
Producing vibes extra-ordinary/
